Halloween and Creativity

Halloween is the only American holiday i totally get and quite frankly i like :)

Heineken Beer seems to like it too and to the left you have an image from one of their campaigns out for this season. Awesome.

To me it’s about getting the chance to dress scary and look stupid and to be honest, for those single out there, the pick-up lines in bars can get to a totally different level on this occasion:

Would you like to go to the party with me as a trick or a treat?

What do you turn into at midnight?

That skeleton over there said he’d get your number for me, but he didn’t have guts, so here I am.

Even those of you who are a Halloween hater and I’m sure there are quite a few, you could get into a t-shirt like this because i am sure Halloween haters are not the most delicate people and they won’t mind the language:

To me having the occasion to use all of your creativity without being corny or unnecessarily desperate for love (see Valentine’s Day – which i hate) is most welcomed.

Even though i don’t see myself living in the US at the moment, i hope one day to throw a Halloween Theme Party and see what i can come up with. Both costume wise and pick-up lines.

Until then, i hope you enjoy this post.
